William B. Diaz, President and CEO
As the President of CS STARS, Mr. Diaz is responsible for the STARS' suite of industry-leading, commercially available risk and claims management products and services. Mr. Diaz brings more than 15 years of insurance industry experience in a variety of globally focused executive roles. With Marsh since 1994, Mr. Diaz’ area of expertise is risk and claims management technology solutions. He has been responsible for building and globally deploying MarshConnect, Marsh’s web-based client desktop application currently utilized by more than 800 clients with users in 30+ countries. Mr. Diaz was formerly also an executive with CS STARS where he held various senior leadership positions including Global Sales Manager.
Mr. Diaz holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois University. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Kellogg (Northwestern) University.

Janet Dell, Managing Director - Product Delivery
Janet Dell is responsible for overseeing the design, development and delivery of all software solutions for CS STARS. Ms. Dell has extensive experience in sales, system design, implementation, process improvement and planning, as well as client management for international and domestic clients. Prior to her current role, Ms. Dell led the Global Specialties practice, encompassing the sales and service of system technology to insurance carriers and third party administrators, as well as large multinationals clients and emerging international markets. Ms. Dell and her team define and deliver innovative technology solutions to address wide-ranging business issues facing CS STARS’ clients around the world.
Ms. Dell received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance, Investment and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Tina Deukmaji, Senior Vice President – Service Practice
Tina Deukmaji is responsible for client support and consulting functions for CS STARS operations across the Americas. In this role, she is focused on continuously enhancing the client experience with CS STARS products. Since 1999, Tina has held a variety of positions in areas such as system implementation, project management, workflow design, support and strategic account management. Prior to her current role, Tina managed the Southeast Zone for CS STARS and served as Practice Leader for various industry segments.
Tina graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance and a minor in Spanish. She also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations and is an active member of the Junior League of Atlanta.

Jorge Diaz, Senior Vice President - Human Resources
Jorge Diaz has been responsible for the Human Resources function for CS STARS since 2007. Mr. Diaz brings more than 15 years of experience in leading human resources for companies in the insurance and technology industries. Mr. Diaz and his team work closely with leadership to drive a human capital strategy that continues to make CS STARS’ people the best in the industry. He focuses on talent management and making CS STARS a great place to work with a high performance culture.
Mr. Diaz received his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago, and he is currently pursuing his MBA from DePaul University. In addition Mr. Diaz holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and an Associate in Claims (AIC).

Lee Ellis, Senior Vice President - Information Security and Compliance Officer
Lee Ellis is responsible for information security and compliance posture and performance of CS STARS. In his role he develops, monitors, and assesses the effectiveness of security policies/programs within CS STARS. He is responsible as well for insuring CS STARS is in compliance with all applicable internal as well as external compliance related issues. Lee brings extensive senior leadership experience that ranges from small organizations to organizations as large as the Federal Reserve and the U.S. military. He brings operational leadership experience in the information technology field, specifically from the risk management and financial services industries. In his role as information security and compliance officer, Lee is focused on making our clients' experience the best in the industry through exceptional data integrity and security performance. Mr. Ellis has been with CS STARS since 2004 and has held a variety of roles including oversight of the account executive practice, director of client technical services, and other operational roles.
Mr. Ellis holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from Auburn University, as well as a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. He is a Colonel in the Army National Guard and also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.

Eric Espeseth, Senior Vice President - Information Technology
Eric Espeseth is responsible for CS STARS information technology functions including application service provider (ASP) infrastructure and the advanced technical support teams that provide best-in-class service to CS STARS' clients. In his role as SVP of information technology, Mr. Espeseth brings extensive senior leadership experience and technical knowledge with regard to enterprise infrastructure design, implementation and on-going support, software and IT project management, as well as IT operations for the risk management and financial services industries. Mr. Espeseth has been with CS STARS since 1998 and has held a variety of IT-related roles.
Mr. Espeseth holds a Bachelors of Science in Communications and Information Studies as well as a Masters in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University.

Wes Foster, Managing Director – CS STARS International
Wesley Foster is responsible for all client activity in Europe/Middle East/Africa, Latin America and Asia Pacific regions for CS STARS including account management, implementations, client support and consulting. Mr. Foster has extensive experience in business development, system integration, client management and system consultation. Mr. Foster's team of more than 30 sales professionals is dedicated to delivering client-focused solutions in the evolving risk and insurance marketplace. Prior to his role as Global Sales Manager, Mr. Foster served as the Sales Manager for the Eastern United States. He has also served as a Senior RMIS Analyst for a Fortune 100 company.
Mr. Foster received his BBA from The University of Georgia with a major in Risk Management and Insurance. He also has in Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.

Bret Kirkland, Senior Vice President – Projects
Bret Kirkland is responsible for managing all projects and implementations for CS STARS. Mr. Kirkland has worked in the Risk Management Information Systems industry since 1995. He has extensive experience in sales support, project implementations, and client management. The projects team encompasses all project competencies including custom software, custom reports, data transformation, database administration, training, and project management. Mr. Kirkland’s team of over 100 colleagues focuses on efficient delivery of software and processes to simplify the job of managing risk for CS STARS clients. Prior to his leadership role in projects, Mr. Kirkland served as the Zone Manager for the Eastern United States.
Mr. Kirkland received his BBA from the University of Georgia with a major in Risk Management and Insurance.

Patrick O’Neill, Managing Director – Americas
Patrick O'Neill is the leader of the CS STARS Americas Business Unit and is responsible for all client activity including business development, client management, system support and consulting. Mr. O’Neill’s team is dedicated to delivering client-focused solutions in the risk and insurance marketplace. Mr. O’Neill brings over 20 years of insurance and technology experience in a variety of management roles. He was a part of the original team that developed the STARS offering. His prior positions within CS STARS include Head of Corporate Client Services, Co-Practice Leader and Global Sales Manager as well as various roles in sales and client service. Additionally, from 2005 to 2008 he led Sales & Marketing efforts for MarshConnect, Marsh’s client portal.
Mr. O’Neill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a dual concentration in Computer Information Systems and Management from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.

Yuri Pinsker, Corporate Counsel
Yuri Pinsker is the Corporate Counsel for CS STARS, and has more than10 years of experience in corporate and transactional legal matters.
Mr. Pinsker received his Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University, his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his Master of Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to joining CS STARS in 2005, Mr. Pinsker represented clients in a variety of legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, strategic contractual arrangements, intellectual property and private equity.

Brian Seldess, Chief Financial Officer
Brian Seldess is the Chief Financial Officer for CS STARS. In his role as the CFO, Brian is a member of CS STARS Executive Management team and directs all policies and activities related to finance, accounting, budgeting, planning and analysis for CS STARS. Brian has been at Marsh for five years in roles of increasing responsibility including: leading the Marsh U.S. Zone CFOs, managing U.S Planning and Forecasting, and most recently heading the U.S. Financial Analysis and Planning group. Prior to Marsh, Brian spent ten years at American Express in Finance, Operations and the President's Office where he was responsible for developing strategic, operational and financial plans.
Brian is a Certified Public Accountant, Six Sigma certified, and a licensed insurance broker. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona and completed his Masters of Business from University of Phoenix (Thunderbird).

Gary M. Shlom, Managing Director – Asia Pacific
Gary Shlom is responsible for client facing technologies across the Asia and Pacific Regions. Mr. Shlom has extensive experience in both the Insurance and Risk Management Industry, as well as Technology. He has served in these areas for 20 years in a multitude of roles, spanning the business, consulting and technology areas. He joined Marsh in 1997 and has worked within the Africa + Asia Pacific Regions and is based in Sydney, Australia. These roles included Regional CIO – Africa, Regional Head of STARS, Head of a Corporate Insurance Division, Regional Manager Risk Consulting and Head of Operations – Asia Pacific.
Mr. Shlom is a Fellow CIP of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and holds a Fellowship of the Insurance Institute of South Africa and a Fellowship of the Institute of Risk Management. He earned the accolade of being awarded the highest results for the Associateship and Fellowship qualifications, achieving seven awards, including the top examination record during 1993-1998.

Eric Wild, Managing Director – Business Development
Eric Wild oversees all Channel/Partner operations, Marketing, and Mergers & Acquisitions for CS STARS. Since joining CS STARS in 1995, Eric has held various leadership positions, most recently as Chief Information Officer. He has also held various Business Development positions for CS STARS including Executive Director of Sales. Prior to joining CS STARS, Eric held various positions with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Eric holds an MBA specializing in Technology Management from The University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Computer Science from Hofstra University.
